Braced for action
It's been lean pickings in 2011 for those who enjoy my self-portrait photography. Truth is that when I'm busily occupied with musical business, the muse tends to dry up in other areas.
I did purchase a new camera (an Olympus PEN E-PL1) earlier this year and I guess while I took a few shots in August this year with it, this is the first proper planned photoshoot I've done.
I've been looking at erotic / fashion photography bloggers on tumblr a lot recently and it influenced the direction these images took. I hope you like them. I think my hair looks nice in these, if nothing else!
You can see the whole photo set here.
Bye bye 2011
This has certainly been nothing less than an interesting and creative year for me, predominantly because I feel that Deathline have taken a great step forward. Our recordings from LA are going to be brilliant - we're tweaking and mixing them now and hope to release a single early next year from the set. Expect to see a lot more gigging to back this up as that's a side we let drop last year.
Next year, there will be many changes, in my work and personal life as well as with my band, and I can't wait to share these changes with you, which have been in the planning for some time now.
I'm very excited about 2012 and I hope you all are too.
Happy New Year!

Grey Christmas
Last night I dreamt
Of a grey Christmas with you
I don't know who
I was trying to fool
The sky was murky
And it rained.Not a lot.
Just a bit.
Happy Christmas 2011 xx

Artrocker
"...post artrock rumble that purrs like a new born kitten and shreds your skin like a tiger on speed"
The Devil has The Best Tuna
One moment feisty electro, then Middle Eastern vocals creep in and all coiled into a tight punk rock aesthetic rooted in Mr Bungle and Cardiacs.

Organ Magazine
Ono Palindromes are BACK with their forceful hook infused angle on alternative rock meets grunge.
